Papers: Explorations into Children’s Literature is a scholarly publication devoted to critical essays on children’s literature. A read through the articles reveal that children’s literature, expecially fairy tales, contains obvious sexual connotations that goes unnoticed by the pure innocence of young minds. As such the case of the balloon/condom, how one perceive the object may differ in relation to one’s age.
*This project was part of my course in Monash University. Papers is a bi-annual publication with issues going on-line in May and November each year.
